Project Overview

MFS Engineers & Surveyors under a sub-contract with H2M architects + engineers performed survey and geotechnical engineering services for a DASNY Storm Resiliency Project located in four NYC boroughs, and Nassau and Suffolk counties. The project involved the storm hardening/ flood proofing of 44 public buildings.

Project Details

MFS’ Survey Group provided topographic, utility, boundary, and NFIP Elevation Certificate surveys at each of the sites. Project control was established on site with Leica GS-15 GPS receivers configured for RTK with NYSNET. Coordinates were in NY Long Island State Plane Coordinate System (NAD83), with elevation in NAVD1988 (Geoid12B) datum.
